Building relationships with City Departments

As a new group we continue to reach out to the City and have been successful in establishing relationships with City Departments. Recently we worked with the Department of Public Works Director Frank Hoffman and Daniel Cleaver who were very receptive to ideas of relocating the Port a Potties from the entrance of Bayview Park to be less of an eye sore as it was an important issue to many residents. The Port a potties were moved to a more discreet location. It was a great experience in communication and responsiveness.

The Good News about Property Values in Perth Amboy

Fact! Did you know that property values in Perth Amboy are on the rise? Did you know that the values increased 9.1% last year and are expected to increase 4% this year? Between 2006 and 2012 half of the nation experienced a sharp real estate decline. But then came the rebound. In Perth Amboy, since 2013, property values have been on the rise.  Cities are experiencing a revival and are hot markets, especially in New Jersey. In Perth Amboy, the revitalization of the waterfront, development of a Charter High School, planned $234 million new public high school, planned $47 million new train station, planned swimmable beach,  safety, celebrated rich diversity and history and quality of life amenities like our new YMCA, numerous recreational activities and Arts & Culture events, all help to produce these increases.
