It was announced on NIxel that until further notice, street sweeping is suspended in Perth Amboy. Perth Amboy declared a State of Emergency on March 16th, all schools in the city closed, all restaurants closed only for takeout and delivery, and a stay at home order was issued for nonessential businesses and an 8pm curfew for residents. Bayview Park Bandstand Lights
The Waterfront Neighborhood Association adopted Bayview Park through Perth Amboy’s adopt a park program. We donated lights to light up the bandstand in Bayview Park and with the help of the amazing Perth Amboy Department of Public Works, we were able to add some holiday spirit to this beautiful park. Thank you so much to Geri Barcheski and Dan Cleaver and the members of Public Works for making this happen!
